Wallace Family Vacation 2005
Welcome to our Travel Log!
Join us as we make our way Southward, like geese in fall-time, to the Lower 48. We don't have a plan of sorts, we are just going with the flow and what happens-- happens! We will be gone from the 25th of June until August 12. The only real firm plan is to visit relatives in Wisconsin, and see the EAA Airshow, Oshkosh, while there during the latter part of July. Join us! It ought to be a blast!

Wallace Family Vacation 2005 : Visits Along the Way
A Taste of Oshkosh- AirVenture 2005

I am not sure I know where to begin! As an aviation enthusiast, I was just simply in my element. Sheila said I was boggling the whole time! It was just the best time I have ever had and I could easily have stayed the whole week. Daily airshows! Warbirds! Ultralights! High Performance! Racing! Working! Whole fields of each kind!

First Private Astronaut, Mike Melville and Alfred

Wallace Family Vacation 2005 : Equipment
Camera

I have to mention this camera!

I have done a great deal of research and this camera kept coming up. I am a Canon fan for the most part, and this thing is pretty awesome. Check it out!

Wallace Family Vacation 2005 : Visits Along the Way
Chicago City Adventure

Boy those are tall buildings

I thought it might be fun to do something completely out of the ordinary (No surprise there!!) In any case, given that we are from a very remote area, I thought looking at a Big City like Chicago as basically an attraction, would be fun. In other words, a whole day of looking around at a City from the standpoint of an outsider-- In one day!!
