I am not sure I know where to begin! As an aviation enthusiast, I was just simply in my element. Sheila said I was boggling the whole time! It was just the best time I have ever had and I could easily have stayed the whole week. Daily airshows! Warbirds! Ultralights! High Performance! Racing! Working! Whole fields of each kind!
A few highlights-
30,000 motorhome attend
10,000 aircraft attend
It is well organized with shuttles, stores, and other things available. Only drawback was night one when a Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Watch came through. It got pretty windy and tossed the motorhome around pretty good. Sheila was so scared she said she saw only tunnel vision! The next morning she found the spaghetti pots and pans from dinner in the garbage and she doesn't remember putting them there!!
Kids met Harrison Ford, Mike Melville, and saw Patty Wagstaff, Sean Tucker, and many others. I will let them tell their story next.
